Cv Axle Leaking Fluid. An axle seal is the part of the vehicle that connects the axle to the rear differential, or the transmission. The seal is brand new as is the cv axle.

A car axle seal is the part that seals the connection of a cv axle (driveshaft) to the transmission or rear differential. My appointment to get the warranty work done is a week away. Once moisture and dirt get into a cv joint axle and grease makes.
Attached is a video i took after i pulled the intermediate shaft out (i plan on replacing that as well because i could never get the cv axle off of it).
The cv axle shaft seal is a rubber or metal seal that is located where a vehicle’s cv axle meets the transmission, differential, or transfer case. (just to note, i flushed the transmission fluid at the time and there was nothing concerning about the old fluid. The half shaft or cv joint has now fluid in it, there is a grease in that joint so that is not your source of a leak. Luckily i have the extended warranty that is covering it.
